LAX VOX WORKSHOP
Have you always wanted to know how you can optimally use the Lax Vox to get the most out of your voice? What are the benefits of bubbling?
This unique Lax Vox workshop is led by Alberto ter Doest. Alberto is the authority on the Lax Vox. Partly due to scientific research, the latest insights are used to apply the Lax Vox even more effectively.
LAX VOX is for singers of all levels, pedagogues, speech therapists, choirs and choir directors. This workshop is also recommended for (public) speakers. Knowledge of technology is not required to participate in this day.
PERSONAL VOICE PLAN
At the Universal Voice Institute, each participant comes with their own experience and their own goals; we transfer this to your own personal voice plan so that you can immediately see what you can develop. We will discuss with you the best way for you to use Lax Vox. Or how you can use the Lax Vox for your pupils, students or patients. Do you have experience? Then we will teach you the latest applications. And is Lax Vox completely new to you? Then you start bubbly with the basics.
WHAT WILL I LEARN AND DEVELOP?
In this workshop you will experience the correct frequency of “bubbling” and which ideal depth belongs to you. You will learn which exercises are best for the recovery of your voice or that of your students or patients. From practicing with Lax Vox you will be explained which vowel is best suited for which voice character. You first learn to train and improve the ideal speaking character. We will show you what happens with your vocal folds during Lax Voxing by means of spectacular high speed videos. This will help you to better understand the effect it has on the functioning of the vocal folds.
SINGERS AND LOGOISTS
For speech therapists we will discuss different voice problems and the different options for using Lax Vox. For singers we will discuss the possibilities that can be used in the different characters in which they sing. You learn to use the Lax Vox for singing higher and lower, but also for a free sound and vibrato and for timbre. You learn recess exercises and cooling down exercises. Singing Lax Vox regularly will guarantee you will sing much easier and better.
